5 Etudes for Orchestra” Wins the 2025 National Composition Prize!

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that my work, “5 Etudes for Orchestra,” has been awarded the National Composition Prize, one of Argentina’s most distinguished honors in the world of classical music.

Receiving this news was a truly unforgettable moment. This prestigious award is organized jointly by two of the nation’s most respected cultural institutions: the National Academy of Fine Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. To have my work recognized by such esteemed organizations is an immense honor.

The jury, which included a panel of renowned composers and conductors, shared some very generous feedback. They highlighted the work’s “originality and conceptual depth,” noting how it moves beyond the idea of a traditional etude. Their comments centered on the piece’s vision of exploring the entire orchestra as a single, unified sound organism. This was precisely my goal when composing it, and knowing that this concept resonated with the jury is incredibly gratifying.

I am also delighted to share that “5 Etudes for Orchestra” will have its world premiere later this year. The brilliant Neuquén Symphony Orchestra will perform the piece on November 28, 2025, under the baton of the great Maestro Andrés Tolcachir, as part of their end-of-year concert. I cannot wait to hear them bring this music to life.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. Long live music!
