On May 27, 2024, I had the great pleasure of having the Chamber Orchestra of the National Congress (conducted by maestro Sebastiano De Filipi) perform a composition of mine in the Salón de los Pasos Perdidos of the Argentine National Congress.
It was a national holiday where they included works by historical composers, and my work “Preludio y Fantasía Andaluza” (Prelude and Andalusian Fantasy) that evokes certain shades of southern Spain. Although I had already premiered my work Fantasía Andaluza in 2023 in the city of Linares (Spain), on this occasion I wrote a prelude especially at the request of the conductor.
The performance of the clarinet soloist, Agustina Gabaglio, was impressive, and the orchestra accompanied wonderfully. It was an excellent night that the audience applauded warmly.
